ELECTIONS 2011
Executive Committee Elections will be held for Executive Committee members for October 2011 - September 2014. Those elected will hold office only if the bid to the European Commission for CiCe5 is successful. Details of the process will be announed in the autumn.
COMING MEETINGS
Conferences
Each year we organise a large conference and a preceeding small research student conference.
Our 2011 conferences are planned to take place in Dublin, Ireland:
Research Student Conference: Wednesday 8th June - Thursday 9th June
Main Conference: Thursday 9th June - Saturday 11th June
Association Members have a substantially reduced booking fee for the Conference.
Annual General Assembly
The Annual General Assembly of the Children's Identity and Citizenship European Association was held in Barcelona on the morning of Saturday 22 May 2010. There was a large attendance: provisional minutes will be uploaded shortly.

The Executive from October 2008
The Association′s Executive consists of a President (2 years), a president-elect (2 years) and a past-president (2 years), plus a Secretary and Treasurer, each serving 4 years, and a number of elected executive members. There are elections for the presidential post every two years, the person elected serving for a total of six years (2 as elect, 2 as President, 2 as past). The Treasurer and Secretary and nominated by the Executive for approval by the General Assembly, and are chosen to ensure a wide regional representation.

Constitution
The Association is bounded by a constitution, which was adopted in May 2006 at the inaugural meeting and amended at the Annual General Assembly in May 2007.
Constitution: 
The Association is a Company Limited by Guarantee (Registration No 6290058), the Executive Commitee serving as Directors. We were registered under the Companies Act 1985 (England) at Companies House on 22nd June 2007. We have adopted a set of Articles and a Memorandum of Association.

We are the academic association for the study of young people's citizenship education and identities, with members in most European countries.
