Associations such as CiCea are an important resource. They can provide avenues for among other things: professional development, training and networking with peers. If you are interested in issues related to citizenship whether it be in terms of teaching, researching or learning, joining the Children's Identity and Citizenship European Association is definitely for you. We believe that when you 'Think Citizenship' you will in fact help 'Change Societies', thus when you combine these two you have CiCea's motto. The motto highlights our main goals, which are to study and understand citizenship and to look for good ideas and methods to promote democratic citizenship, so that societies become more sustainable, fair, and inclusive.
To join you need to complete a membership form (which can be found under the Subscriptions link on the banner header. You should choose the type of membership which suits your situation, this can be either an Institutional Membership or an Individual Membership. When you complete the form than you will need to pay your annual membership fee. This can be done by moving down to either the Individual Membership Payment & Renewal or the Institutional Membership Payment & Renewal subheading on the same page as the membership application form.
If you would like to make a donation to the Association please contact the Treasurer by email here. All donations will be earmarked for supporting the Association activities directly impacting its membership including but not limited to its Research Grant and Travel Stipends. Donations can be made to the Association using Paypal and Bank Transfer.
